I. authorization is required to create a topic.
Due to the special nature of the topic, users generally do not have the permission to create and manage the topic by default. when you need to create a topic as a non-founder, you need to grant the management permission to the specific management User Group to manage and edit the topic.



Grant the create, manage, and DIY permissions to the management User Group.


Article management permissions:

Allow all articles to be managed: Select "yes" to allow members of this management group to manage and edit and delete all channels. if you select "no", "allow authorized articles to be managed" appears ", the permission to allow authorized document management determines whether individual members of the user group can be set to the "article permission" of a channel column.
Allow authorized document management: Sets whether the administrator is allowed to assign one or more channel topic management permissions to a single member of the user group. you must enter the Channel topic for separate settings. you can create a topic: set whether to allow creation of topics; allow management of topics: set whether to allow editing of all topics; allow DIY: set whether to allow DIY forums, articles, spaces, forums, and other pages; allow authorized management of DIY modules: Sets whether administrators are allowed to assign permissions to this user group to manage DIY modules, including permissions on the home page, channel, topic, article, space, Forum, and other pages, you need to go to channel management, topical management, and DIY page management for separate settings.

II. create a topic

After you have the permission to create a topic, you can create a new topic in the background-> Portal-> Topic management.

Topic Title: topic title;
Static name: the personalized name displayed in the link when the topic is static. it cannot be repeated;
SEO description: special introduction. this description is used for search engine optimization and placed in the description tag of meta;
SEO keywords: these keywords are used for search engine optimization and placed in the keyword tag of meta. Separate multiple keywords with commas;
Topic cover: Cover image of a topic, which can be a network link or uploaded locally;
Template name: you can select different templates. The standard edition has only one built-in template. if a new template is available, you can upload the template file to the template/default/portal directory. the file name must be portal_topic _*. htm, * is the custom file name. if you want to reselect the template, make sure that the new template has the same ID as the drag-and-drop region in the original template. Otherwise, the partition or all original DIY data will be lost.
Additional content: Site Navigation, site tail information, allows the topic to display the site's header navigation or site tail information.

3. DIY

After a new topic is created, the DIY interface of the topic is automatically displayed. compared with the DIY interface of the portal DIY interface, the DIY interface of the topic is more like a DIY interface for dressing up a personal space. the style and custom options are added, more convenient personalization and beautification of the topic page;
