In Mircosoft Excel 2000, usually when we enter a formula, it is not the formula itself that is reflected in the cell, but the result of the formula, and the formula itself is reflected in the input box in the edit bar, as shown in Figure 7-2.
We can also change the settings and display the input formula in the cell. To achieve this, you can follow these steps:
(1) Execute the Options command on the Tools menu, the Options dialog box appears, and click the View tab, as shown in Figure 7-3.
(2) Select "Formula" in the Window Options box and press the OK button. You will see that the cell is not the result of the formula, but the formula itself. As shown in Figure 7-4.
We can also use the keyboard combination to achieve the same effect. By pressing the [ctrl]+['] key, you can switch between displaying the results and displaying the formulas, just like pressing a switch
