Enter your ID number in Excel normal display method

After we use Excel to enter the ID number, bank account and so on a longer number, it will become a plus and letter form (as shown below), why?

This is a general problem with digital input. The default number format in Excel is "normal", which can display up to 11 digits in a valid number, and more than 11 digits are expressed in scientific notation.

To enter multiple digits and fully display them, you can try the following two methods:

First, format the cell as text

Select the target cell, right-click, and select Format cells.

On the Number tab, select the Text option from under categories. Press the OK button to save the settings.

Enter the ID number again. (Be sure to format, and then enter the number)

If you don't want the small arrow in the upper-left corner, you can click the small arrow and choose Ignore error.

First, enter a single quotation mark ' and then enter the number

When entering the ID number, add a single quotation mark in English state before the number, so that the ID card number can be fully displayed (the single quotation mark is not displayed after confirmation).
