Error in assigning null value to Cookies

Many friends have the following error when using cookies:

Microsoft VBScript run-time error ' 800a000d '

Type mismatch: ' [Object] '

The wrong solution is actually simple because you give cookies a null value.

We can do a test:

<%

response.cookies("a")("a")=a

%>

Running the above code will not be an error, and running the following code will make an error.

<%
a=null
response.cookies("a")("a")=a

%>

This test shows that cookies cannot be assigned null values. This error often occurs when the value of a database is assigned to a cookie.
