EVC4.0 Compilation Error: LNK2005

When using the EVC4.0 (SP4) compiler, an error similar to the following occurs: Uafxwced.lib (afxmem.obj): Error LNK2005: "void * __cdecl operator new (unsigned int)" ([EMA Il protected]@z) already defined in Coredll.lib (COREDLL.dll) can be resolved in the following ways:

1. Open the Project->settings dialog box and add: "/verbose:lib" in the Project Options box on the Link tab.

2. Enter Uafxwced.lib in the Project->settings->link objects/library modules box.

Problem solving. Note: To place the uafxwced.lib at the front of the other library file names.
