What is an earlier access version?
You can obtain the Ext JS 6 version immediately. This version can be used as a uniform (Ext JS and Sencha Touch) platform framework to create Web applications that use a single source across platforms such as desktops, tablets, and smartphones. With the assistance of customers and the Sencha community, we will use these valuable feedback to create a better Ext JS 6 release.
How to participate?
Download the earlier versions of Ext JS to find the functions you are interested in and start using them. Try to create a universal application based on desktop, tablet, and smartphone. Then, you can participate in the Forum through Ext JS 6 through feedback, discussion, and posting. Every developer has a different focus. Therefore, it is a good idea to let you join the process of creating the first common application as soon as possible to discover what you need.
What does it contain?
Earlier versions of Ext JS 6 introduced a large number of new features and tools to help you create common applications. The following are some of the most exciting parts:
Sencha Ext JS 6
Ext JS 6 unifies the Ext JS 5 and Sencha Touch frameworks and allows you to create general applications based on all platforms and devices. In Ext JS 5, many mobile functions of Sencha Touch are introduced into Ext JS and core common code is built. In Ext JS 6, the UI components of Ext JS and Sencha Touch will be built on the general core, which makes it possible to use a single code to create a desktop-to-smartphone-based application. In addition, there are a lot of enhancements in Ext JS 6, especially in the area of accessibility, charts, and grids.
Sencha elastic Grid
Recently, the Sencha javasgrid attachment was released, allowing developers to quickly and easily add powerful analysis functions to Ext JS applications. Using Sencha sans Grid, you can create applications that allow users to discover key information from big data, which helps improve the customer's ability to use big data. In earlier versions of Ext JS 6, we hope to obtain feedback about the attachment to the mongogrid, which will further improve its performance.
Sencha Cmd 6
Like every major version of Ext JS, Sencha Cmd is updated to make it easier and faster to create applications. In the past, SASS was required to update the topic of the Ext JS application, and it relied on Ruby and Compass. This made theme updates difficult to some extent. Now, a new SASS compiler named Fashion is introduced, which is implemented through JavaScript. Therefore, SASS can be re-compiled in a browser in a near real-time manner.
JetBrains IDE plugin
Many developers use standard IDES (such as Eclipse, JetBrains, and Visual Studio) as their development tools. We have created a plug-in for the most popular IDE (JetBrians), which will make Ext JS development faster, more convenient, and greatly improve productivity. The Sencha JetBrains plug-in enables Automatic completion and allows developers to quickly access configuration items, INS, attributes, events, and methods.
Feedback
We are working hard to develop the release version of Ext JS 6's extremely related tools. Therefore, we need your help and feedback very much. Try the previous access version and create the first common application, or migrate a small application to a common application and visit the version forum in Ext JS 6 early to report bugs, problems, and errors in Ext JS 6. We look forward to your feedback.
