Faults that oracle 12.1.0.2 asmca cannot be opened under aix, 12.1.0.2asmca

Because we want to add a new 13 T disk group, we decided to use asmca for processing.

After the result is input to asmca, no response is returned. This is true for both the first and second days.

On the third day, IBM's storage engineers have mounted their MPIO. If they still cannot operate, they can only use asmcmd, but they are not familiar with this.

 

I decided to try again.

First

Cd/dev

Chownd grid: asmadmin hdiskN

Chownd grid: asmadmin rhdiskN

Then modify the asm configuration.

According to the oracle asm document, srvctl can modify the disk string of the asm. The syntax format is as follows:

Srvctl modify asm [-listener listener_name] [-pwfile password_file_path] [-diskstring asm_diskstring] [-spfile spfile_path_name [-proxy]

However, when switching to the grid, we found that there was no such format at all, which may be a document lag.

Rogue, then log on

Grid> sqlplus "/as sysdba"

Alter system set asm_diskstring = '/dev/rhdisk *' scope = both

/

The result is displayed. Before modification, the value of asm_diskstring is/dev/r *.

I checked the r * results under/dev and found many non-grid: asmadmin contents, which should be caused by these and I don't know who modified them.
