Firefox memory resource usage Optimization

Source: Internet

I saw a Firefox Memory Optimization Method in a forum. It was very practical.

The method is as follows:

1. Open Firefox and enter about: config in the address bar.
2. Right-click and choose new> Boolean
3. Enter config. trim_on_minimize in the pop-up box.
4. Select true.
5. Restart Firefox
After the restart, Firefox will be minimized. Now press CTRL + ALT + DEL to call up the task manager and check if Firefox's memory usage is less than 10 MB? Yes, this simple optimization allows you to release the excess memory it occupies when minimizing and maximizing Firefox. When you refresh the page, some of the memory will be released to reduce the memory usage. In fact, this is a default feature of IE7 and opera, but Firefox has not yet been added. I believe that later versions will improve this situation.
