Fireworks make VISTA-style strong beam

This tutorial is to introduce the use of fireworks to make the Vista-style strong beam process, the tutorial is not very difficult, the introduction of very detailed, forward, hope that the script home friends like!

Effect Chart:

First, let's make those colored arcs first.

First create a new green curved path, select the Glow filter, set as shown:

Next, create a new white rectangle above the path, select a radial gradient fill, and do not have a border, as shown in figure:

Cut the new rectangle, the shortcut key is Ctrl+x, and then paste it into the mask of the curve you just made.

Set the mask to grayscale appearance.

At this point, the path has the effect of the fade. At this point we can also adjust the handle to adjust the details of the gradient.

The following step is an operation that affects the details of the final effect.

Copy the layer with the mask now and place it above the layer and set the layer blending mode to overlay. And then put the following layer of transparency properly adjusted, I set for 50:

The results seem to be not much different from just now, don't worry, look down:

We made a blue curved beam in front of the method. With the previous Green Cross. At this point I will not add superimposed layer of the picture next to contrast, you can see the difference. The cross section of the overlay layer is more "light", which is the detail we need.

According to this principle, we can add a variety of arcs, paths and so on, get the effect. At this point, the color arc part completed!

And then we're going to make a background that looks like a transparent screen in the back.

Although the color arc is beautiful, we now hide them and concentrate on making the following sections:

Create a new path, white fill, no border, as shown:

As pictured, start with small steps:

1. Add the inner shadow filter to this path first.

2. Select the "Go to Background" option in the filter settings.

3. This result is achieved.

But the edges are too clear and we need to make it more "imaginary". So we set the edge of the path to "feather" effect, adjust the feather size, I set it to 10.

We found this "screen" from top to bottom is more rigid, we have to give it an implicit effect. To add a mask to the arc just now, we add a mask to the path. This time the mask uses the upper and lower linear gradients.

Just forgot to explain a little bit here to add. Add a path to the glow effect, we need to add a mask to it and ctrl+g it and mount the filter effect of the "combination", or simply ctrl+shift+alt+z it to "flatten" (if you do not intend to modify it later), otherwise add mask, The filter effect that you just mounted on the arc is applied to the mask. Any other layer on which the filter is mounted we are best to combine the mask when we add it to it. I don't know if this is a bug in FW ...

OK, let's start by combining this feathered path ctrl+g, and then paste the path of the linear gradient fill that you just made into its mask.

Then create a new triangle path, white fill not border, transparency set to 30, you can adjust.

Then repeat the previous action, feather >>> mix >>> new Gradient fill path >>> paste as Mask

This method is used to finish the background production.

And then show the curve just now, not bad:

Let's add a title. Create a new rectangle, and this time, add a border. Set the color of the border higher than the fill brightness.

Sets the rectangle's layer blending mode to "overlay". Plus the text, it's done!

The end of the tutorial, the above is fireworks production Vista style strong beam process, I hope you will be able to see a help, thank you for watching!
