We have learned about the basic interface and basic knowledge of AutoCAD, in this section will use AutoCAD to draw some simple graphics, to further enhance the perceptual knowledge of AutoCAD.
2.5.1 Instance 1 draws the side view of the short tube
Step 1 Create a new graphics file
(1) to start the AutoCAD 2002 system, in the "AutoCAD 2002 Today (AutoCAD 2002)" window, select the Create drawings (creating graphics) tab.
(2) to determine the "Template" item in the Drop-down list box for select how to begin (choose how to start), select the "ACAD.DWT" item in the recent templates (recently used boilerplate) column, as shown in Figure 2-15.
Step 2 Graphic Drawing
(1) Draw a line first, in AutoCAD, you can draw a straight line by specifying two endpoint coordinates. Select the icon on the Draw toolbar and, as prompted, enter the command line:
Command: _line Specify a point:0,4 Enter |
Specify the 1th coordinate (0,4) |
Specify next point or [Undo]: 12,4 Enter |
Specify the next point coordinate (12,4) |
Specify next point or [Undo]: Enter |
End Line command by enter |
(2) Use the same method to draw two straight lines between points (1,2), (11,2) and dots (1,6), (11,6).
(3) Select the icon in the Draw toolbar again and enter it on the command line:
Command: _line Specify a point:1,1 Enter |
Specify the 1th coordinate (1,1) |
Specify next point or [Undo]: 11,1 Enter |
Specify the next point coordinate (11,1) |
Specify next point or [undo]:11,7 Enter |
Specify the next point coordinate (11,7) |
Specify next point or [Close/undo]: 1,7 Enter |
Specify the next point coordinate (1,7) |
Specify next point or [Close/undo]: C Enter |
Select the close option and end the line command |
Step 3 Display Control
(1) The main drawing work has now been completed. Because the user sees a limited range on the screen, it is possible to see only a portion of the graphic, or even a graphic, so use the Zoom command to display all the graphics on the screen:
Command:zoom Enter |
Execute the "Zoom" command |
Specify corner of window, enter a scale factor (NX or NXP), or [All/center/dynamic/extents/previous/scale/window] <real time>: a Enter |
|
|
Select the All option and determine |
At this point, the user can see the graphic shown in Figure 2-16 on the screen.
