3.4.1 Mvsetup Command

This command is used to set the graphic specification, which is invoked as follows:

Command line: Mvsetup

When this command is invoked, AutoCAD prompts the user whether to enable drawing space:

Enable paper space? [No/yes] <y>: n

The use of this command in the drawing space is detailed in chapter 17th. Select the "No" option in this section to further prompt the user to specify the unit type, scale factor, drawing width, and height:

Enter units Type [Scientific/decimal/engineering/architectural/metric]:

Enter the scale factor:

Enter The paper width:

Enter The paper Height:

This command changes the unit type, graphics bounds, and so on according to the user's selection, and automatically draws a rectangular border (Polyline object) to display the graphics bounds.

Explains that the "mvsetup" command can be used transparently.

3.4.2 Fill Command

This command is used to control the padding for multiple lines, wide lines, two-dimensional fills, all pattern fills, and wide multi-line lines, and the invocation format is:

Command line: Fill

After calling the command, AutoCAD prompts:

Enter mode [On/off] <on>:

The option "On" opens the fill mode to make the object fill visible.

Option off closes the fill mode, displaying and printing only the outline of the object.

Modifying the fill mode affects the existing objects after the graphics are reborn, but does not affect the display of the Wired wide objects.

Explains that the fill command can be used transparently.

3.4.3 DragMode Command

This command controls how the drag object is displayed. For some very complex objects, the drag operation can be time-consuming, and you can use the DragMode command to prohibit dragging. The command is invoked in the following way:

Command line: DragMode

AutoCAD prompts as follows:

Enter new value [On/off/auto] <auto>:

On option: Allows drag operations, but must be explicitly specified to be able to do so by entering "drag" when a drag operation is required to activate the drag function.

Off option: ignores all drag requests.

Auto option: This feature takes effect automatically when a drag operation is required. This option is the default option.

Explains that the "DragMode" command can be used transparently.

3.4.4 Blipmode Command

This command is used to control whether or not to display a point tag, which is invoked as follows:

Command line: Blipmode

After calling the command, AutoCAD prompts:

Blipmode Enter mode [On/off] <off>:

If set to on state, the user uses the cursor on the screen or the coordinates to specify the point, which is displayed as a temporary tag "+" that the user can call "redraw", "regen", "Zoom", "Pan", and any other commands that need to be regenerated at any time to remove the tags.

If set to OFF (the default), the system does not display these points.

Explains that the "Blipmode" command can be used transparently.

This chapter first introduces the basic settings of graphics, the user through the wizard (Wizard) to the length of the graph unit, angle units, angle of the starting position and positive direction, as well as the graphic boundaries and so on to set. The user can also modify the existing settings at any time.

AutoCAD provides users with a number of drawing aids, such as raster, capture, quadrature, polar Tracking, object capture, and object capture tracking, which users can set through the Drafting Settings dialog box.

This chapter also describes the commonly used commands for viewing graphics, such as "Zoom", "Pan", and so on, and users can do similar things with a bird's-eye view and a smart mouse. Commands such as "View" and "viewports" can be used to view graphics from different locations and from different angles.

For the display state of the graph, the user can be set up by commands such as "redraw", "regen", "Fill", "DragMode", and "Blipmode".
