Cleanmymac 3 Preferences

CLEANMYMAC3 preferences allow users to use software smarter and more personalized, and we'll look at how to make preferences later.

1. Start the software, and in the toolbar, select Cleanmymac-Preferences in the upper-left corner of the screen.

2. At this point, we can see several tabs in the preferences, including generic, smart cleanup, scheduler, cleanmymac3 menu, update, and ignore list.

Let's take a look at these tabs separately: general

In the First General tab, you can set the sound, animation, and warning dialogs, as well as control the language of applications that are not deleted, Cleanmymac automatically saves the language you are using, but you can easily add them if you do not want to delete some languages.

When using smart cleanup, we can also customize the Smart cleanup, set the Smart cleanup contains which modules, if you want to add some modules in the smart cleanup again, you only need to set up here.

In the scheduler, you can set the Cleanmymac scheduled cleanup interval, and you can set the full scan to begin after startup.

The Cleanmymac3 menu in the upper right corner allows for activation and deactivation, and we do not recommend disabling this feature if deactivating will not receive a health warning for your Mac.

In this tab, we can also try to alert when the available space is less than the set range value, and when the trash exceeds the set value is a notification, where you can also provide help to uninstall the application correctly.

Update

In the Fifth tab update, use data can be shared anonymously to help developers improve CLEANMYMAC3. You can choose whether to collect detailed logs for all items and set up software to automatically check for updates.

The last tab ignores the list, and if you want to talk about some file cleanup, you can add the file to the Ignore list so that Cleanmymac 3 does not scan or clean any files in this menu.
