Q: The application also restarts the host where the DB2 resides when accessing DB2, causing the database to be inconsistent.

A: The database is in an inconsistent state, either logically inconsistent or physical.

If the logic is inconsistent, you can use the Db2stop command to stop the database and start the database with the Db2start command. During the database restart, DB2 will automatically perform data recovery and matching.

If the physical inconsistency, basically is to drop the database to re-establish database. In this case, be aware that you usually use the database backup tool to back up the database, and then use the DB2 Restore tool to restore the database after the database is damaged.
