Disappointment with Lua

The project team encountered a Lua coding problem and took the opportunity to try Lua. The result was disappointing.

It is found that Lua only provides basic string processing functions and has poor codec control. Regular Expression replacement also has unexpected side effects. Originally, string processing should be the strength of the script.Then there is a network library. The common socket and HTTP libraries are only supported by version 5.1 and have to be despised.

I still want to study Lua, but I am not interested in it. Let it go on to the legend.
