In the use of Excel2007 software, usually in the form of software to enter a considerable number of values, and the complex data will inevitably appear wrong, and the system will use a special error value to remind. Now let's look at what each error value means.

Excel2007

 1.### #错误

This error indicates that the column is not wide enough, or that a negative date or time was used.

When the column width is insufficient to display the content, you can correct it by the following methods:

(1) Resize the column width, or double-click the border directly to the right of the column heading.

(2) Narrow the content to fit the column width.

(3) Change the number format of the cell so that the number fits within the existing cell width. For example, you can reduce the number of decimal places after decimals.

When the date and time are negative, you can correct them in the following ways:

(1) If the 1900 date system is used, then the date and time must be positive.

(2) If you subtract the date and time, make sure the formula you set is correct.

(3) If the formula is correct, but the result is still negative, you can display the value by formatting the corresponding cell as a date or time format.

 2. #VALUE! error

This error indicates that the parameter or operand used is not of the correct type. may contain one or more of the following errors:

(1) When the formula requires numeric or logical values (such as ture or false), the text is entered.

(2) Input or edit the array formula, did not press the key combination ctrl+shift+enter, but pressed the enter key.

(3) Enter the cell reference, formula, or function as an array constant.

(4) provides an area for operators or functions that require a single value rather than a range.

(5) An invalid matrix was used in a matrix worksheet function.

(6) The function entered by the macro program you are running returns #value!

 3. #DIV/0! Error

This error indicates the use of a number divided by 0 (0). Specific performance in:

(1) The formula entered contains an obvious calculation divided by 0, such as "=5/0".

(2) Use a cell reference to a blank cell or a cell that contains 0 as a divisor.

(3) A function or formula that returns #div/0! is used in a macro that is running.

 4. #N/A error

This error occurs when a value is not available for a function or formula. The specific performance in:

(1) The data is missing and a #n/a or NA () is entered at its location.

(2) An incorrect value is given to the lookup_value parameter of the HLOOKUP, LOOKUP, match, or VLOOKUP worksheet function.

(3) VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, or mactch worksheet functions are used in unsorted tables to find values.

(4) The number of rows or columns of a parameter used in an array formula is inconsistent with the number of rows or columns of the range that contains the array formula.

(5) One or more required parameters are omitted from the built-in or custom worksheet function.

(6) The custom worksheet function used is not available.

(7) The function entered by the running macro program returns to #n/a.

 5. #NAME? error

This error occurs when Excel2007 does not recognize the text in the formula. The specific performance in:

(1) The EUROCONVERT function was used, but the Euro Conversion tool macro was not loaded.

(2) The name that does not exist is used.

(3) The name is spelled incorrectly.

(4) The function name is spelled incorrectly.

(5) No double quotes are used when entering text in a formula.

(6) A colon is omitted from the area reference.

(7) A reference to another worksheet that is not used by a single quotation mark.

(8) Open the workbook that invokes the user-defined function (UDP).

6. #REF! error

This error occurs when a cell reference is not valid. Specific performance in:

(1) Delete the cells that are caused by other formulas, or paste the moved cells into cells that are caused by other formulas.

(2) The program that the object linking and embedding links to uses is not running.

(3) Link to an unavailable Dynamic Data exchange (DDE) topic, such as "system."

(4) The function entered by the running macro program returns to #ref.

 7. #NUM! error

This error can occur if an invalid value is used in a formula or function. The specific performance in:

(1) An unacceptable parameter is used in a function that requires a numeric parameter.

(2) A worksheet function (such as IRR or rate) that is iterated is used, and the function cannot get the result.

(3) The number of the input formula is too large or too small to be represented in the Excel2007.

 8. #NULL! error

If you specify two intersections of areas that do not intersect, an error occurs. Specific performance in:

(1) The incorrect region operator is used.

(2) The region does not intersect.

Tip: The crossover operator between references is a space.

The above list of eight common error values, and these error values are represented in English letters, if you know English words, you can quickly remember the meaning of these error values, and not understand the user had to rote, in addition to the various error values provided a solution.
