1) Configure
The Configure task is used to configure Ivy by using the XML setup file.
Consult the settings file to get the details of the settings file itself.
You can configure Ivy through the Sttings declaration from 2.0. The difference with this task is that when you use the settings declaration, the Ivy configuration is done when the settings are first needed (for example, when you do a resolve), and the Configure task is immediately configured so that it is easy to see if something goes wrong.
