Lync Local Chat record How to modify the directory save

Lync Chat Default Save in C disk, does not support the modification, the following method to modify the directory:

The default chat record is guaranteed to exist:

C:\Users\ User name \appdata\local\microsoft\communicator

So use the soft connection method to change it to other directory, below take the administrator account under Windows7 for example.

1, close Lync, move directory to other disk

Move "C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Communicator" E:\bak\Communicator

2. Establish soft connection

Mklink/j "C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Communicator" E:\bak\Communicator

If you are an XP user, you need to download junction, using the following command

Junction "C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Communicator" E:\bak\Communicator
