Make a nice roll-painting effect animation

This effect can be divided into three major steps to make.

First, a clear, final image to be presented in front of us, as a layer.

Second, the need to make this picture of the fuzzy effect, to achieve a little more special effects.

Third, make this picture of the reverse shadow, the last playback, to show the magic effect of the scroll ...

Next, let's start making ...

First, open Flash8, new file, scene size can be set to 300 X, frame frequency can be set to 12, example diagram:

Then import a picture of your favorite, put it in the "library" inside.

Back to the main scene, select the first frame of the timeline, from the gallery, drag the picture into the main scene, adjust to the appropriate location, and then press (F8) to convert to the movie clip symbol (note: The purpose of converting to a movie clip is to use the Blur filter later to make the blur effect in the second big step).

You can then insert a frame at frame 120th (press F5) to increase the animation's playback length. So, the first step, we finish ...

Second, create a new layer above layer 1, as shown in figure:

The first button at the bottom left of the panel is the new Layer button,

Copy the first frame of layer 1, paste to the first frame of Layer 2, select the movie clip "Symbol 1" in the home scene, select the "Filter" tab in the property bar below, add "blur" effect (22 or so, depending on the stage size and picture resolution).

Create a new layer on Layer 2 and select the Rectangle tool on the left toolbar. With the rectangular tool in the home scene to draw a square shape with the size of the stage (we are here before the scene is set to X 300), select the graphic, you can set in the following property bar its coordinates x,y axis position, can be set to 0 respectively.

(Note: In the home scene, the upper-left corner coordinates the position is 0.0), in this layer 90th frame inserts the key frame (May press F6), then, in the properties panel below, set its X position to 550 (that is, to translate it to the right 550 pixels), and then between frame 1th and 90th, select a frame arbitrarily , and then select shapes after "tween" in the panel below, creating a shape tween.

(Note: Since we are here a normal pixel shape drawn with a rectangular tool, you can only create a shape tween.) Instead, create a motion tween, which is only suitable for a symbol or movie clip, and then select Layer 3, right-click, select Mask layer, and create a mask animation. So, the second big step, even if the production is done.

Third, create a new layer on Layer 3, copy the first frame of layer 1, paste it into the first frame of layer 4, and then insert the keyframe at 90 frames on layer fourth (press F6).

Create a new layer on layer 4 again, then select the first frame, and the left toolbar to select the Rectangle tool

, in the properties panel below, you can set the outline color to None

, select the fill color, and in the upper-right corner, on the Color panel, type Select a linear gradient, set all white, and set the gradient in the first position with a transparency of 0%, a second position of 44%, a third position with a transparency of 0%, a fourth position with a transparency of 33%, and a fifth position of 0%

Draw a rectangle in the home scene with a rectangular tool, wide (that is, the width of the reel), high as the height of the stage (here we have 300), the coordinate position is x,y (0,0). Then insert the keyframe in frame 90th and set the x,y position of the scroll (stage width 550, 0) and finally set to shape tween.

Once again, create a new layer on layer 5, select all the frames for layer 5, right-click, copy frames, and then select the first frame of layer 6 and paste the frame. Go back to layer 5, right-click, select Mask layer, let Layer 5 mask layer 4, create mask animation. Go back to layer 4, close Layer 2, Layer 3, layer 5, as shown below:

Select the components on Layer 4 1 and frame 90th, and the properties panel below to set its transparency to 40.

Then select the 1th frame of layer 4, then select the "Symbol 1" movie clip in the main scene, perform the menu above: Modify-transform-flip horizontally, and then let it and the "Layer 1" component be centered on the left side of the scroll (white line portion of the figure)

Frame 90th in the same way, select Layer 4 of the 90th frame, and then select the main scene "Symbol 1" of this movie clip, perform the above menu: modify-transform-horizontal flip, and then let it and "layer 1" components to the left side of the scroll center symmetry (white line part of the figure)

Finally, create a motion tween between frames 1th and 90th of Layer 4, where the entire production is basically finished ...
