Our products are valuable because of their functionality and for the user's use. And the demand of products is divided into functional requirements and non-functional requirements.

Functional requirements are the requirements that exist because of the root cause of the product. Functional requirements indicate what the product must do, is a specification of the product's function, and is derived from the basic goal of the product. Some of the actions that a product must perform in order to achieve the underlying reason for existence are related to functional requirements.

We can dig out the functional requirements of our products through use case descriptions, user scenario descriptions, and so on. The functional requirements of our products are the essential functions and goals of our products. But in the analysis of functional requirements, we should pay attention to the requirements of the level of detail, scope, size, ambiguity, and so on.

Functional requirements describe the action of the product. They should be able to form a complete product function description that avoids ambiguity as much as possible.

Non-functional requirements are attributes that a product must have, and these properties make our products more attractive, easy to use, fast, and reliable. These properties exist not because they are basic activities of the product, but because the user wants these functional activities to be performed in some way. Non-functional requirements do not change the functionality of the product.

Non-functional requirements are an important part of the requirements specification, users often according to the non-functional requirements of products to increase the function of the product is the highlight of our products, is our product differentiation and other similar products.

Non-functional requirements can be found through functional requirements. There are several categories of non-functional requirements: perception, ease of use, performance, operability, maintainability, security, culture and policy, law, etc. In the context of functional requirements, non-functional requirements may be the key to customers deciding whether or not to purchase our products.

Functional requirements are those that are required to do the job, not functional requirements that are characterized by work.
