MySQL Query size-sensitive

Query with binary keyword can be in the query to distinguish the character size as follows:

Mysql> select name from PE where binary name= ' claws ';
+-------+
| name |
+-------+
| Claws |
+-------+
Mysql> select name from PE where binary name= ' claws ';
Empty Set (0.00 sec)
Use of the like condition:

Mysql> select name from PE where name is like binary ' c% ';
Empty Set (0.00 sec)

Mysql> select name from PE where name is like binary ' c% ';
+-------+
| name |
+-------+
| Claws |
+-------+
