1. Local Machine Settings:
1. Make sure that the corresponding service project is started. Control Panel-performance and maintenance-management tools-services: Enable the following services.
If the following service items are not enabled, the following message is displayed during Remote Logon:
"The client cannot connect to a remote computer.
The connection may not be enabled, or the computer is too busy to accept new connections. You may also be unable to connect due to network problems.
Please try again later. If the problem persists, contact the system administrator ."
If the above prompt appears, consider whether the service project is not started.
Services required for remote Logon:
Server
Terminal Services
Telnet
Nt lm Security Support Provider (Telnet must depend on this service, so you need to start this service first)
2. Remove the firewall's restrictions on remote control.
It is best to close it.
3. Add a Remote Desktop User:
Click Start> All Programs> Management Tools> Computer Management ";
In System Tools, click "local users and groups" and double-click "users" on the right ";
Right-click the blank area on the right and select "new user". In the displayed dialog box, enter "user name, full name, password, and Confirm Password". Other users can set the password. Then confirm to exit.
Right-click the new user name-properties-affiliated, click "add"-advanced-search now-select the name "Remote Desktop Users", and click "exit, in this way, the remote Logon account settings are completed.
You can also attach your Users to the Remote Desktop Users.
4. enable remote Logon:
Right-click my computer -- properties -- remote desktop -- check before "allow users to remotely connect to this computer. After confirming, you can log on to the remote machine.
5. Start -- run -- enter gpedit. msc, enter the Group Policy, Computer Configuration -- windows Settings -- security settings -- local policy -- Security Options. By default, in XP's Local Security Policy-& gt; security options, "account: users with empty passwords can only log on to the console" is enabled, that is, any account with a blank password cannot access from the network and can only log on locally. Therefore, to log on remotely, either create a password for the user you want to log on to (preferred) or disable "account: you can only log on to the console with a blank password "(anyone can log on ).
