One, the reallocation of the route ignores filtering, when the router reallocation route, you need to start the routing filtering function, to remove those that may cause the loop path. Therefore, if you do not apply a routing filtering policy, you usually cause an error.

However, it is a complex task for an administrator to filter a network with a large network and without complete global information, possibly omitting the path here or there.

Therefore, the best way to avoid this problem is to try not to redistribute the route, in fact, reassigning the route is usually a bad idea, we can actually find the right way to solve the problem without the need to reassign the route.

Second, the mismatched neighbor parameters in OSPF, OSPF routers usually need to maintain several common parameters in order to establish an association with neighboring nodes. The parameters include authentication, zone ID, mask, hello interval, router extinction interval, and so on. In a real-world network deployment, incorrect neighbor parameters, such as nonstandard configuration, incorrect password, and so on, can cause the Neighbor Node Association to fail.

For such an error, it is easier for a network administrator to find out if an error is caused by mismatched neighbor parameters through OSPF adjacency-related debugging commands, and then to modify it by discovering which parameters are wrong.

Third, when reassigning routes forget to include the subnet password, when the routing is reassigned to the OSPF based network, another common error is that sometimes a few paths are lost, often because the administrator network comes with a keyword on the subnet at the end of the reassignment command. For example, for Cisco routers, the subnet keyword is critical for OSPF to redistribute subnets, and if there are no keywords attached to the subnet mask, OSPF will only reassign network routes outside the subnet.

Forget the configuration measure index, when the routing is redistributed in the network based on the EIGRP protocol, if all the path information is lost, it is most likely because the administrator forgot to configure the route measure index, and the function of the route measure is set by default, and the administrator is forced to manually set.

Therefore, if the administrator does not set metrics, reassigning the route will not succeed. It is also visible that reallocating routing is not a reasonable choice when using a EIGRP network.

The EIGRP measure index set unreasonable, it is often difficult to adjust the measure index of EIGRP rationally, so that the traffic of network can be allocated reasonably. In general, sending traffic over an Internet VPN may be more reasonable than using a low-bandwidth frame trunk route, so you should allocate more traffic to the former.

Bandwidth and time delay metrics may seem easier to set, however, for administrators, it is difficult to evaluate whether the expected flow-assignment effect can be achieved if all of the metrics they set are weighted to the formula of the target function.

When we set up a network environment, be sure to do some more testing, so that you can find that you do not notice the place, you can also in the network load is lighter, test the network of several router parameters, and use these parameters to calculate the cost of each path at that time, and then evaluate the set of measurement indicators is reasonable.
