I have been studying RTOS for a long time. I used to watch the UCOS for a while. I had a simple experience. However, without project support, my continuous learning ability is really limited, once I learned it, I don't know what it is to do. I always advocate learning and using it in depth. Otherwise, what I learned by myself will always be just a bit of a bit.
Today, I took out the development board that I sent to my colleagues. I used the NXP lpc1768 chip, and all the peripheral functions were complete (the Characteristics of the Development Board). However, unfortunately, I couldn't find any information, go to the Internet and find the development environment, development manual, chip documentation and schematic. By the way, let's start with a few examples, but I want to use him to run the RTT, it is RT-thread, an open-source RTOS written by Chinese people, with dedicated support from the team and good practicability.
Why should I learn RTOS? In the current application, simple single-chip microcomputer programming has its own limitations. Especially after the number of functions and code comes up, we will find it difficult to manage the relationship between each function and control the runtime, sometimes it may bring unexpected problems, and RTOS can bring us a management system, so that we can clearly know the specific running process of the task, it also greatly improves readability.
Let's start with some preparation work.
