In fact, under the Ubuntu14.04 LTS system, the keyboard layout of the English input method is not correct, my solution is:

1, delete the original English keyboard layout, changed to Chinese (US), note: Only US in parentheses, no other superfluous!

2, the above input issued to the first place. (This step did not consider the necessity, but did so at the time)

2 System Setup Exceptions

Under normal circumstances, there should be a lot of things in the system settings, and choose Input Method text input settings can also be used normally.
