How to use webking to accessibility test a dynamic WEB application
webking Introduction
Webking is a WEB automation test software launched by Parasoft company, which can be used for white box, black box and regression testing. This article focuses on the tool's inspection and testing of the accessibility aspects of WEB applications. Webking to accessibility inspection is basically scanning the content of the elements of the page, according to specific rules to match, does not conform to the error. Webking supports local file check tests and creates project checks to test site content, including static, dynamic, and Ajax tests. Especially for the dynamic WEB application provides a good recording playback scan function. The newer version is currently 6.0.5.
The basic principle of webking is to scan the content of the page according to specific rules, including Html, css, xslt, javascript, WCAG2.0, etc., and this rule can be extended, which satisfies the different requirements of many enterprises in the test. Users can develop the corresponding page detection rules according to the needs of the enterprise. Basic local file testing and static project testing are briefly introduced in the article "Development and test access barrier-free web Applications", which focuses on the testing techniques of dynamic WEB applications.
Using webking to test dynamic WEB applications
Webking support for Dynamic Web applications is divided into two categories, one is the ordinary Dynamic Web application, the other is the Ajax-enabled Web2.0 Web application. This article is an example of a WEB application that supports Ajax.
Build Dynamic test Project
Start by creating a dynamic WEB test project that supports AJAX, configuring its URLs and the browsers used for recording, as shown in Figure 1, figure 2.
