VLC stream server configuration

The following describes how to configure IPv6 streaming media based on Linux.

1. Select "file"-> "Open File". In the open option bar, select the file name of the media file to be output.

2. Select the "stream/Save" Check button for "advanced options. Click settings.

3. fill in the RTP address bar with the following address format: "[ff02: 1% eth0]". The preceding ff02: 1 indicates the multicast address, and eth0 indicates the NIC interface name. On Linux, it does not seem that eth0 will cause an error that cannot be played. somehow, you have to specify eth0.

4. Select the corresponding Video Encoder and Audio Encoder. This is optional and should be optional.

5. Enter the corresponding TTL value.

OK. Check whether the host can be output as streaming media.
