As we all know, the top left side of the site is the first place the viewer notices. This is due to the habit of reading (reading from the top left corner). Plus, early websites are designed in this way. So we often put the logo in the upper left corner.

In this article there are several problems that are often encountered in the design. Hopefully, after you've finished, you'll want to figure out how to solve these problems when you design your Web page. Then I wrote this article to achieve the goal.

1. Remember, you only have 4 seconds .

The average daily page access in the entire internet is only 4 seconds. This means you don't have enough time to impress and interact with the site. So you need to be as precise as possible about what the main function of your site is. If a site is open more than the time the viewer waits, Then the viewer will lose interest, and the end result is that the viewer goes to another website. (Wood: This means: We are designing the home page as simple as possible, and speed up the opening of the Web site.)

2. Guide the viewer's gaze

When you walk into a room, you can't see all the things in the room. The first thing you notice is that there is no one in the room, and then you pay attention to what attracts your eyeballs. This is true when viewers first visit the site. When a visitor visits your site for the first time, You need to guide them to visit the site. For example, a landing button, a "more" button, news ...

3. The top left side of the site is the "prime location".

As we all know, the top left side of the site is the first place the viewer notices. This is due to the habit of reading (reading from the top left corner). Plus the early Web site was designed in this way. So we often put the logo in the upper left corner. So let's think about adding something to guide the viewers. (Login link, search box, website slogan ...)

4. "F" Reading mode

According to some eye-tracking data, the reader is looking at the path of a Web page, like a letter "F". This shows that the first place that viewers focus on IS, head, One-third, and left. So we have to think about how to put the most important part of the site in these places.

5. What is overlooked by the viewer?

Viewers ignore ads. They ignore banners or text ads. So avoid the design of Web pages that look like ads. There are also viewers who overlook large chunks of text. No one will have much time to read that much of the text just to get the main content of a website. (I have no patience to see) so we have to try to simplify the text, or add some image decoration to attract attention.

6. Text vs Picture

This is an interesting fact. Text is more appealing to viewers than any static graphic. If you want to send a message to the viewer, I suggest you use text instead of static graphics.

7. Design elements that attract attention

Let's take a look at the elements that attract viewers ' eyeballs: inflammatory slogans and buttons (usually with bright colors), and a list of steps such as: 1-2-3.

If you want to write an article, then you first have to determine the title of the Good article. Good headlines can attract viewers ' attention. A good title can let the viewer better grasp the focus of the article.

8. Text Format

If you use the correct text format, the text will have more chances to be read. Don't be afraid to use paragraphs, bold, italic, reference text, underscores, or large letters ... Any way you can make your text more appealing. Of course, sometimes you need to use a guided statement to guide the reader's gaze.

9. Use refreshing and clean graphics

As it is said, viewers will ignore advertising. When you're designing graphics, make sure they're not too complicated and confusing. People will find it difficult to see the intricate graphics and colorful graphics. So you have to avoid this happening.

When designing a graphic, find a "point" for the viewer to pay attention to.

10. White leaves

Do not push the design elements together, leaving blank. Let them have breathing space between them. Especially applicable to text.
