Iterator iterator in C + +

Source: Internet
Author: User

The iterator iterator acts like a pointer.

Iterator is only valid for containers that have a < type > set. For example:

vector< int > vec; vector< int >::iterator itr;For VEC, Itr.begin () points to the first element of VEC. Itr.end () points to the next element of the last element of the VEC (as a sentry, which does not actually exist).    You can use itr.begin () = = Itr.end () to determine if the container is empty. Like a pointer, ITR can ++,*itr represent a dereference, that is, the element within the container that is ITR pointed to.
