Entering mysql-uroot-p in CMD 1045 error appears as follows:
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user ' root ' @ ' localhost ' (using password)
Workaround:
1. Locate the My.ini file in the MySQL bin directory, and add skip-grant-tables under [MySQL] to skip the password (the last line placed in the My.ini file )
2. turn off the server (first is off)
net stop MySQL
3. Go to cmd, reset password
Mysql-uroot-p Enter

Use MySQL; Enter
Change Password: Set password for ' root ' @ ' localhost ' =password (' new password '); (Bo Master These statements have tried, and finally the first fit, may wish to try more)

4. Modify My.ini comment out skip-grant-tables; save exit
