MySQL error: using expire_logs_days without log_bin crashes the server. seereadme.debian.gz

Problem:
Execute the mysql Startup operation, that is,/etc/init. d/mysql start
The following error message is displayed:
Using expire_logs_days without log_bin crashes the server. seereadme.debian.gz

Solution:
Check/etc/mysql/my. cnf and find that the log_bin option is disabled. enable it.
In addition
The expire_logs_days option indicates the number of days that mysql binary logs are automatically deleted. The default value is 0, indicating "not automatically deleted".
If expire_logs_days = 2 is set, logs that have expired for two days are automatically cleared. The mysql log directory is in/var/log/mysql.
