MySQL Set server encoding

Write Java program today when the insertion of MySQL data garbled problem, to determine the database and table encoding has been specified utf-8. After Baidu learned that MySQL installation need to set the server code, the following is the solution (Ubuntu; MySQL 5.6.25):

1. Confirm the current encoding: Login to MySQL and execute show variables like ' character% ';

2. Find MySQL config file: Find/-name ' *.cnf '

3. Find My.cnf, edit, add a sentence under [mysqld] Character-set-server=utf8

4. Restart MySQL:/etc/init.d/mysql Restart and perform the first step to re-view the encoding.
