Four criteria to test the team's agility
Scott Ambler, a leader in Agile development, mentioned four criteria to test the agility of a team:
1. Have you performed a unit test? If you do not perform unit tests in regression mode, you are not agile. "If you are not doing unit testing in a regression manner, you are not agile ."
2. Do you want to introduce project customers to the development team? Do you need to establish a communication mechanism to communicate with your customers several times a day or a week? "Introduce me to your stakeholders. show me some eviting you are interacting with them on a daily basis or at least several times a week. "No customer intervention or difficulty in obtaining customer support cannot be an excuse to circumvent this principle.
3. Does the software you are developing work )? I want to see the configuration version of the working software demo. Do people outside of the team see the software you developed every week?
4. Is the development team self-organizing? That is to say, the Team has control over the project. Self-organization does not mean that there are no restrictions, but it should have the right to decide some important things of the project.
If you violate any of the above four standards, your team may not be agile.
