Datagrip is a database management client tool that makes it easy to connect to a database server, execute SQL, create tables, create indexes, and export data. The previously tried client tool was Dbvisualizer, but after trying out datagrip, I decided to abandon Dbvisualizer. The installation process is also very simple, double-click the installation, the next step, the middle will let you choose the theme, I chose the classic Darcula, after the installation is complete, start, the interface is as follows

Next, manage the database driver. Datagrip supports the mainstream database, File->datasource

You can also expand the green + sign in the database view to add a DB connection

Select the type of database you want to connect to

In the panel, the upper left section lists the established database connection, click on the items, the right side will show the current connection configuration information, general panel, you can configure database connection information, such as host, user name, password, etc., different database configuration information is not exactly the same, fill in the database URL, note that After the URL has an option, you can choose to fill in the URL directly, then you do not need to fill in the host name, port and other information.

Driver section shows the database driver information, if you have not downloaded the driver, there will be a warning at the bottom, indicating the lack of driver

Click Driver after the database type, will jump to the driver download page, click Download, download will show the driver package

If there is a problem with the driver download, you can manually add the local driver package, during the trial process, when creating an Oracle connection, the download of the driver package is a problem, the lack of class, click on the right side of the green + number, select the local download of the jar package, through the right up and down ARROW, Move the imported jar package to the top position.

Click Test Connection to see if the configuration is correct, and then you can use it.
