In the previous tutorial, you've done more than once to color fill objects such as AutoShapes, text boxes, and so on, but they are simpler. You can add more complex fill effects to a drawing object by using the Fill Color button on the Drawing toolbar.
First select the drawing object, click the Drop-down button next to the Fill Color button, and then select the following actions as needed:
One, set to transparent
By default, the inserted AutoShape, text box fill color is white, and if you want to make it transparent, click No Fill Color.
Second, change to other colors
Click a color in the color box and the fill color of the drawing object is changed. If you don't find the color you want, click More Fill Colors, open the Color dialog box, select the preset color block you want, and drag the transparency slider below to set the transparency of the fill color. If you still do not have the requirements, switch to the Customize tab to customize a color.
Third, set the fill effect
Click Fill Effects to open the Fill Effect dialog box, which allows you to make a gradient, textured, patterned, picture-filled shape.
Tip: This applies to AutoShapes, text boxes, WordArt, clip art, organization charts, charts, and other drawing objects.
