Graphic Implementation of Wince Mui multi-language support

 

Mui refers to multi-language support. It can support multiple languages in the wince system and switch as needed. The following describes the specific implementation:

1. add multiple languages:

Create a wince project, right-click the project in Solution Explorer, and select Properties. A dialog box is displayed. Select "local" in the list on the left and select the supported language on the right. Here I select French, Japan, Chinese (PRC) and English. In "Default locale:", select the default language of the system. Here, select English.

2. Add Mui Components

In catalog item view, select Mui-supported components and choose core OS> cebase> international> Multilingual user interface (Mui )",

Select the four languages French, Japanese, English and Chinese. If you want to display them correctly, select the appropriate font. Here you only need to add fonts for Chinese and Japanese. 3. Compile the Mui Project

Recompile the project. After the compilation is successful, open the project's release directory and call the createmui command to create resource files in multiple languages. Each language corresponds to a lcid, which can be found in the wince help document, as shown below:

English: 0409

Chinese (PRC): 0804

French: 040c

Japan: 0411

The command is as follows:

Createmui 0409,0804, 040c, 0411

After running successfully, a multiui. bib file is generated. open the file and copy all the content to the end of the common. bib file. The mutiui. bib file may contain K. coredll. dll. XXX. Delete all K. coredll. dll. xxx items in the common. bib file.

4. Run the test

Download and run wince. The default language is English. Choose Start> setting> Control Panel to bring up the control panel, select regional settings, select user interface language, and select the language to switch, for example, Chinese (PRC ),

Restart the target board. If you use the wince simulator, select file in the menu, select reset, and select soft to restart. After the restart, the interface will become a Chinese wince system.
