Hard Disk cannot be identified when CentOS7 x64 is installed on the HP Server

The company has two HP servers: HP BL460c G7 SmartArray P410i and HP DL360 G5 SmartArray E200i. For various reasons, you need to reinstall the operating system CentOS7. However, after various efforts, the CentOS7 installer cannot identify the server hard disk.

Solution:

1. Go to the installation disc and select centos -- Install Centos7 by pressing the up/down key (note that you cannot press Enter ),

2. Press the Tab key to configure the installation. The following words are displayed at the bottom of the screen:

3. Add the hpsa. hpsa_simple_mode = 1 hpsa. hpsa_allow_any = 1, on the command line of the additional configuration ,:

4. Press enter to continue installation

After completing the steps above, the installer can identify the hard disk of the HP Server.
