How does the WIN10 system hide important files ?, Win10 hide important files
Everyone has some important personal data on their computers. There are many ways to avoid people using their computers to avoid leaking important personal files, today, I will share with you a very simple way to hide files. I believe it will be helpful for you when using your PC:
First, make sure that the file you want to hide can be the entire folder or a separate file. Here we will use a separate file for demonstration, in fact, hiding the entire folder is an operating principle, which is to hide the file to avoid being seen by strangers or accidentally deleted by children!
First, let's take a look at how the file is hidden. Right-click the file to be hidden, see the most recent "attribute", and then click "attribute" to enter the attribute operation window.
The "general" option on the file properties page shows that the hide option is not selected. You can select the check box before the "hide" option and click "OK, the file is hidden.
After confirmation, we can see that the selected hidden file icon turns to a virtual color, but it can also be seen in the folder, because we did not select the display setting of the entire folder. Continue to the next step!
In this case, you need to click "View" in the folder shown in the figure to bring up the folder options and find the hidden files and folders in the "View" column, you can see that the default option is "show hidden files, folders, and drives". We need to select the option box before "do not show hidden files, folders, or drives, click OK to hide the selected hidden file!
You can also hide the folder as a whole. Right-click the folder, call up properties, select the check box before hiding, and click OK. Then, the confirmation attribute change dialog box appears, select the check box before "Apply changes to this folder, subfolders, and files" and click "OK". The contents in the entire folder are hidden!
We want to view the "Hidden Files". You do not need to go to the folder system to set it. You only need to click "View" in the upper part of the folder. if you see the "hidden projects" in the figure, you only need to select the previous check box to view the hidden files.
