1. Find the process number for the process
You can use the command: PS aux|grep process name, to find the corresponding process number, generally shown in the second example, note: The results show that there are often many similar or identical process names, in the display of results to see the corresponding path to the process to distinguish between which process
2. Killing process
Available commands: kill-9 process number//In this step, we can kill the corresponding process.
3. A little note
If there is a Wathdog (watchdog) in the system, then even if you kill the process through the above method, watchdog will restart the process after a period of time, if we want to let the process die for a long time, remember to kill the watchdog process first, even so, If there is a puppet sync, we have to sync the puppet to turn it off.
4. Turn off puppet sync (for system installation puppet, use carefully)
Generally speaking, the client that synchronizes with puppet will generate a scheduled task file under a certain directory, the name is username, generally: root; as long as we put this file mv to another directory, puppet sync will fail
