How to automatically start an application in BlackBerry

If you want your application to run in the background, you can set it to run automatically in the START (StartUp. When a BlackBerry wireless handhelds device is turned on or loaded with its own software, the start of the BlackBerry wireless handhelds device (StartUp) appears. Background thread control applications are very effective because programmers can use them to play the role of listening threads (for example, listening to new E-mail ). The background running thread application is very useful for performing preprocessing to ensure the smooth running of the application.

The following describes how to set an application to auto start in IDE.

In BlackBerry IDE, right-click the project name and select properties. In the displayed application property Settings dialog box, select the application page and select the Auto-run on Startup option. Make sure that the System Module option is selected.

In this way, your application will automatically run when the BlackBerry is loaded.
