There are many gadgets in the android SDK. If you want to transform it yourself, you need to recompile it. Android is inherently Linux, but after all, the vast majority of users are windows, so we need to compile a copy for win.
According to the platform/development/docs/howto_build_sdk.txt document, the main steps are as follows:
Compile a copy for Linux under Linux;
Install cygwin and a bunch of packages on Windows;
Copy the source code and SDK for Linux to Windows;
Use the development/build/tools/make_windows_sdk.sh script to compile files related to the Windows platform, and automatically replace the corresponding files in the SDK for Linux, so an SDK for Windows is born ......
But ...... The script cannot be found in the latest source code. There is a patch_windows_sdk.sh, which looks very similar to the above, ah. You are too lazy to use git log to flip the revision record and use -- failed.
Note: this can be done before android2.2, but it cannot be compiled after Android 2.3. The windows_sdk.mk file is the instruction document for compiling the SDK in Windows 2.3.
Windows_sdk.mk under the development/build/tools/directory is the real compilation method of the current version:
Make product-SDK for Linux
Install mingw32
Compile the: Make PRODUCT-sdk-win_sdk for windows in Linux
Success ......
In the out/host/generated two folders, respectively: windows-x86 and windows, Windows folder is the Windows version of Android SDK!
Excited! After a long time, I finally succeeded!
Windows directory:
The software required for mingw32 installation is:
Sudo apt-Get install mingw32 mingw32-binutils mingw32-runtime
If you cannot access the Internet, you can also search http://packages.ubuntu.com website you need to download the package, it is very convenient!
If the system prompts that another software package such as tofrodos is missing, search and download the package on the above website.
