Generally, ASP is supported by default on Windows systems where IIS is installed. The following describes how to make it support PHP and MySQL and Gd libraries.
How to install PHP and IIS in Windows 2000
1. We recommend that you use unzip -win32.zip to decompress php-5.0.0(5.0.5latest version) to C: PHP.
2. Copy PHP. ini-Dist to the WINNT directory and change it to PhP. ini. Copy php5ts. dll and libmysql. DLL to winnt/system32.
3. Next, set in IIS, open the default site Properties dialog box, switch to the "main directory" tab, and click "Configure" to open the "ApplicationProgramIn the configuration dialog box, click Add to open the Add/edit application extension ing dialog box. In the "executable file" input box, point to C: PHP/php5isapi. DLL, enter "php" (excluding quotation marks) in the "extension" input box, and select the "Script Engine" and "check whether the file exists" check boxes to confirm and exit IIS.
Now the server should be able to support both ASP and PHP.
