How to configure the fiber-optic connection wireless router

If your home is dial-up Internet users, even if the new fiber-optic households, you must remember to dial the Internet account and password Oh.

　　First, the household fiber connectivity, using a network cable will be the router's WAN port and Light cat (fiber box) LAN port, we see the router's WAN lights flashing, indicating that the connection is normal.

　　Second, start setting up the router

　　1, the computer connects to the router

The laptop turns on WiFi, searches for the router WiFi name and connects (the name generally defaults to the router brand start + number, etc.). The first time you use a router, you do not need to enter a WiFi password (previously set password to use the original password). (If the desktop is not Wi-Fi, you can use a single cable to connect the computer to the router LAN)

　　2, into the Router settings page

Open the Computer browser, enter the router's gateway IP address (usually 192.168.1.1, if not sure to see the back of the router information), into the configuration interface.

　　3. Choose the way of Internet

Click the Setup Wizard, if the broadband service needs to dial, please select PPPoE dial-up, otherwise you can choose DHCP automatic acquisition. PPPoE dial-up to enter the broadband account password, connect mode select Automatic connection. DHCP automatic acquisition is not required.

　　4, set WiFi name and password.

Select wireless security in wireless settings and secure mode to select WPA2-PSK mode. The WPA encryption rule selects AES. Set up a wireless network password, it is recommended to set their own familiar with the easy to remember the password, in addition to not too simple, to prevent people from rubbing the net. When the settings are complete, save the settings.

Finally restart the router, connect WiFi, enter a new wireless password, you can surf the network!
