The following uses phpmyadmin-2.6.1.tar.gz as an example.
Decompress phpmyadmin-2.6.1.tar.gz to/usr/local/apache2/htdocs,
Get the folder phpMyAdmin-2.6.1 and rename it to phpMyAdmin (which will be easier in future ).
Go to the phpMyAdmin folder and run the vim command to open config. Inc. php.
That is, # Vim config. Inc. php.
You only need to modify two parts for encryption:
1. Find $ cfg ['servers'] [$ I] ['auth _ type'] = 'config'; (row 83rd) and change config to HTTP.
For example, $ cfg ['servers'] [$ I] ['auth _ type'] = 'http ';
2. Enter the username and password of the database in the following two rows.
For example, $ cfg ['servers'] [$ I] ['user'] = 'root ';
$ Cfg ['servers'] [$ I] ['Password'] = '000000 ';
MySQL encryption in phpMyAdmin is complete!
**************************************** *************
You also need to modify the phpMyAdmin configuration process:
Find $ cfg ['pmaabsoluteuri '] = ''; (39 rows)
Enter the absolute phpMyAdmin address of your server.
For example, mine is:
$ Cfg ['pmaabsoluteuri '] = 'HTTP: // 10.10.19.167/phpmyadmin ';
The phpMyAdmin configuration is complete! (Note: different versions may be different)
