How to add your search engine to Firefox

If you create a search engine (or intra-site search), you will certainly want to make it easier for users to use.
In Firefox, it provides a search toolbar. How can we add the toolbar to our search?

The search toolbar in Firefox is a protocol based on open search. This protocol is very simple.
Let's look at a simple example (http://www.lookcode.net) the site used

Put the code in an XML file opensearch. xml

Then add

In this case, you use Firefox to open your page.
You can see "add lookcode" in the search box"
Add it. Test it. OK.

Currently, two browsers support opensearch.
Ie7.0 is not installed and not tested
Firefox2.0 passed the test
