How to insert a table in PPT2007

Tables can make data and cases clearer, we all know that you can create tables in PPT, and the production of tables on slides is a common job, but if we have ready-made forms on hand, then we don't have to waste time recreating one, so how do we add them to the table in PPT2007?

In previous versions of PPT2007, there seemed to be no particularly good way to show a nice and useful table in a presentation, let alone copy a ready-made form from Excel into a PowerPoint document. People often ask how to copy the table in Excel to the slide without distortion or distortion, and there are two ways to do it: either to use Word as an intermediary or a screenshot tool, but both are inconvenient.

To design a table from scratch in PowerPoint2007, you can select the Insert menu and click Table icon, PowerPoint2007 will display the table Drop-down menu, and when you drag the mouse over the small grid, the prototype of the table you are designing will appear in the presentation. Next you can modify the style of the table, select or double-click the edge of the table, the Ribbon automatic reality for the table-specific functional area, as shown in Figure 2, you can choose to apply a table-style area, the thickness of the table line color, or even the style of the text in the table (if necessary, you can let the words in the table have their own reflection )。

In addition to the table style, click the Effects button on the right to add a variety of effects to the table, such as selecting a hard tile style with three-dimensional effects, as shown in Figure 3, to make the table look more consistent with the overall presentation.

There is also an Excel spreadsheet command in the table Drop-down menu (as shown in Figure 1), and clicking this command inserts an Excel workspace into the presentation if you have Excel 2007 installed on the user's computer. The effect is shown in Figure 4.

In this edit area (by default this area is relatively small), users can be like the operation of Excel data sorting, calculation, and so on, only need to be in the next blank position click the mouse, a beautiful form leaps. Table styles and color templates can also be applied to Excel workspaces.

Another issue that needs to be solved is that the format is too distorted to reproduce the form. Now try this: in Excel, select the part you want to copy, as shown in Figure 5, where you deliberately use a table with formatting, color, and different column widths.

Then click the Paste button in the PowerPoint2007 Ribbon or use the shortcut key to Ctrl + V to see a table that is almost identical, as shown in Figure 6.

For the copied table, you can reset the table style if you don't think the style is bright enough.

It's important to note that you can't just copy a large table from Excel to PowerPoint2007. On the one hand this is meaningless, if the copy of the table more than 25 lines, basically the audience can not see clearly what is written in the presentation, on the other hand PowerPoint2007 will continue to refuse to deal with too large forms, and make it a mess
