How to install oracle11g and create an instance

1. Do the preparatory work before installation

2. Install Oracle

Do not enter a mailbox

Select "Install database Softwar only" to install only the data software

Select Single Instance data installation

Select language

Select Enterprise Edition

Select Database Installation path

Set up groups for Oracle users

Click "Fix & Check Again" to repair and re-examine

Executes the script in the prompt box as the root user

Execute script

Check again, install Sysstat

Install Sysstat

Start installation

Execute the script in the prompt box

Click to complete

3, create the Listener

Select "Add"

Enter the name of the listener

Select Network "TCP"

Set Listener port

Prompt to create additional listeners, select "No"

Click Next

Click "Finish" to finish

To see if the listener port is open

4. Create an instance

DBCA Open Data Configuration Assistant

Select Create database to make a data

Select the data template type and select the normal transaction database

Enter the global name and database ID of the data

Set database user password, all users use the same password

Ignore warning

Select the storage type of the database and the path to the data file, and use the absolute path if you use the variable ${oracle_base} to prompt for insufficient permissions in the following/u01/app/oracle/oradata

Set data recovery path, you can not check

Set the table space to create a test, you can tick the

Database Memory settings

Database File block Size setting, and maximum number of processes

Setting the character set

Design connection type, shared memory or exclusive memory

Tick "Gentrate Database creation scrip" to generate a script

Click OK to create the script

Click OK to save the script

Start creating a Database

Click OK to complete
