How to install the compilation tool in Linux

Source: Internet
Author: User

For some lightweight Linux systems, such as lubuntu, there is no pre-installed GCC compilation tool chain, so we need to download and install it ourselves.

Linux provides a very simple command to install the required compilation tool chain:

Sudo apt-Get install build-essential

If some compilation tools are not installed, you can specify the required compilation tools. For example, if the above command only downloads and installs GCC but does not have g ++, we can download and install g ++ as follows:

Sudo apt-Get install g ++

Before using this command, check the content of the/APT/sources. list file.
