How to remotely log on to Linux using securecrt

1. First, verify whether the securecrt local host and Linux Server can be pinged;

2. Determine if SSH is installed on the Linux Server

If not installed:

Apt-Get installopenssh-Server

3. Back up sshd_config:

Sudo CP/etc/ssh/sshd_config/etc/ssh/sshd_config.originalsudo

Chmod A-W/etc/ssh/sshd_config.original

4. Modify the sshd_config Configuration:

Modify Port

 

5. Restart SSH:/etc/init. d/ssh restart.

Then you can use the securecrt client on Windows for access. The solution to Chinese Garbled text is as follows:

Use UTF-8 encoding. If the font cannot be changed to a Chinese font, select the national standard as the encoding method.
