Anyone who has read the IIS log time knows that the default time recorded by IIS is Greenwich Mean Time, which is 8 hours different from the Beijing time we use. This makes it inconvenient to view logs.
We use a very small setting to make IIS log time use the time zone set by the server. We use Beijing time, that is, Zone 8. Generally, we have already set the time when installing the operating system. Next, set IIS (take Windows2003 + IIS6 as an example ):
Open "Internet Information Service (IIS) manager", click "Internet Information Service", "Local Computer", and "website", on the desired website (if you want to set all websites, directly on the "website") Right-click "properties" to open the website properties.
Under the "website" tab, find "activity log format" and click "properties" to enable IIS log properties.
Under the "General" tab of IIS log properties, locate "file name and create local time" and tick it.
Click "OK" twice to exit the "Internet Information Service (IIS) manager ".
At this point, the IIS log is already using the local time.
