Many times we want to get a continuous set of data from a row in the middle, for example, starting from line 10th to query 10 rows of data, which is used more in the forum database, because the Forum's reply is often hundreds of, need pagination display, MySQL limit command can realize this function

SELECT *  from Table [offset,] |

When offset is omitted, offset is treated as 0 to extract the previous rows data from the query and, when Offset>=0, represents the rows data from offset that the query was extracted from;

At this point, if rows<0 represents extracting all data from offset starting with the query (mysql5.6 test pass)

SELECT *  from Table 5,ten;  // 6 -  the
SELECT *  from Table 5; Retrieving the first 5 rows of records
